4 day battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This watch is amazing, I love the size, and the band is also perfect. I've had just about every Galaxy watch since #2, and this one is by far better. The battery life is what stands out the most about this watch, as my review title says, "I'm getting four days with this watch." I have all the important things to me coming to my watch. I do not wear it to bed because I'm a side sleeper, and a watch annoys me. This is the best battery on a Galaxy Watch, and I love it.

This new galaxy watch 5 pro is everything and more. Quality construction, comfortable shape and band, and the features included far outweigh the cost.

Good watch but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this watch about a month. Just upgraded from the active 2. Pretty expensive jump for the improvements. I like that the screen is better protected than the active 2 but my biggest complaint is that there are some features that really sold me on the upgrade that are not available in the US. My fault for not looking into it I suppose.

Big Improvement in Several Areas

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Samsung watch. My first was a Gear S3, second was a Watch 3 and now a Watch5 Pro. I can honestly say that the watch has gotten better with each iteration. I was initially worried about this purchase as it contained the removal of the front face dial that served as a functional slider essentially, but I now feel that my worry wasn't warranted. I believe if the watch was equal or less responsive than the Watch 3 then the removal of the dial would be an issue, but I am proud to say that the Watch5 Pro is much more responsive, especially when receiving a notification. I used the dial mostly to initiate the viewing of notifications that delayed in displaying. Notifications are much faster to load and the viewing of those notifications are much easier for someone with aging eyes (I am far sighted and do wear medium strength reading glasses). I think most of the software benefits has come from the move from Tizen to Wear OS. One thing that stands out to me is the texting capability on the watch itself. It was about impossible on my older Watch 3 but on the Watch5 Pro it has the swipe texting which works very well so it is a huge step forward in this area. The battery is another big improvement although I will say the Samsung line of watches have always had much better battery life than other watches, but with the Watch5 Pro the battery life is not in days a required everyday charge. Obviously if you use the always on display you will have a couple of days life vs not using always on display will allow double that (depending on notifications and workouts also.) The last major upgrade I will mention is the D-Buckle band (this is one of the band options when purchasing.) If you are like me and very particular about the amount of pressure and location of your watch, then this band is the one for you. I think of it like a belt that uses holes to achieve the proper tightness, but one hole is too tight and one hole over is too loose. This band eliminates that issue and is by far the best band I have ever had on a watch. I have been using the Watch5 Pro for a couple of months and I have no buyer's remorse at all.
