DOA drive and no way to return!

This drive was dead on arrival. Because of the hack on WDs website, I have not been able to submit a return request for four weeks. Total Fail! This drive spins, but the heads apparently will not move. It never writes any format data.

Good disk.
Makes a fair amount of noise when accessed.
Lifeguard Tools don't work with these.
Using new release software from WD to test drive.

WD Gold 18TB drives X 3, > reliable than Seagate

My third WD 18 TB Gold drive. I really like them. Reliable, run cool. Got a Seagate EXOS, 16 TB drive because it was cheaper, but keep having reading errors using it. So had to get this last WD drive to back up the Seagate drive before it might crap out.
