Mouse EXCELLENT - battery illustration backwards

It works perfectly, bought for a gift.
ALTHOUGH The directions have an illustration of how to insert the batteries that is BACKWARDS.
After following the direction a few times It appeared that the mouse was defective, since it wouldn’t come on.
I have another working HP wireless mouse, so looked at how its batteries were installed, and put them in the new mouse THAT way. THEN the mouse worked perfectly!
Mouse is EXCELLENT - battery illustration of installation directions should be updated!
