I bought this two weeks ago. It is reasonably good to use. Initially it was difficult to insert the batteries properly, as no instruction came with. But after a while I found it is indicated inside.

I have never had a mouse slide off any computer/laptop for over 20 years. I usually place the mouse on the right-hand side of the laptop itself that sits on a portable table. My Logitech NEVER slid off, and I think I may have dropped my mouse 5 times (I really think it is 2, as I only recall 1). This mouse fell off my laptop over 10 times the very first day. When I compared the 2 (I don't throw away anything till it's tested), I discovered that Logitech was smart enough to make the mini legs slightly sticky to prevent the mouse from falling off the computer and to the floor. I will stick with Logitech in the future, a brand of peripheral electronics I can always rely on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
