[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having an external keyboard and mouse makes operating a laptop feel like a desktop. Both the keyboard and the mouse have nice "feel" so they is no needing to "get used to them". I'm a bit surprised at how they are powered - one AAA battery for the mouse and one AA battery for the keyboard. So far, so good, but I don't know how long they will last - it is possible that they could turn out to be battery pigs that gobble up batteries or the batteries could end up lasting a long while - only time will tell. It might have been better if they were rechargeable, but that would mean a whole different set of issues. Two things that I do like are the power switch on the mouse the mouse to minimize battery drain when it is not in use and also the slot in the back of the mouse for storing the USB dongle to reduce the likelihood that it gets "separated" from the keyboard and mouse. After all, without the dongle, the keyboard and mouse don't work! Finally, the significantly discounted price when coupled with a laptop makes their purchase a no brainer.
