[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop looks and feels amazing! It performs as it should and there are no unwanted surprises. It seems to have plenty of power for what we need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a solid rig that runs the programs I need well and has a gorgeous monitor. Can be glitchy however with a second monitor attached - scaling of windows and programs can be inconsistent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad P16s is a work-horse machine. With the 22 cores and 32GB of memory, everything I need to do gets done quickly. Even booting the machine into Win 11 is super fast.
The machine has top-notch Thinkpad quality. The design is what you would expect from a Thinkpad and does not disappoint. The only minor thing I did was swap the FN and Ctrl keys, which is easy to do in the Vantage tool.
One of the first things I liked about the machine is that it is relatively light for what you are getting. My last laptop was a Thinkpad P51 - a mobile-workstation but heavy. This P16s has so much more power yet lighter (which my shoulders appreciate!)
The WQUXGA OLED is crystal clear and sharp. I am really glad I chose that option with how much detail that display brings out.
