[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a long time I've been an XPS guy, but this Thinkpad P16s Gen 3 is my new go to. The mix of internals and peripherals is clearly targeting professionals (good for me), while XPS continues to focus on minimalist design including minimalist IO (bad for me). These Thinkpads also offer way more options in terms of RAM and GPU upgrades as they are targeting pros which I appreciate. Most of all I like the 4k OLED screen, which was one of the main reasons I bought this machine. There aren't too many out there with that right now.
If there was one downside it's that I wish the screen offered 120hz refresh rate. Other than that so far so good.

Laptop is works great and easy to use. Power charging is great as expected with USB C charging. the only issue i have with it is that the Ethernet port is very hard to release the cable from it. thought it would get better over time but still very much so a pain in the butt.
