TrackPoint reduces tendinitis

I've used the Lenovo (formerly IBM) keyboard for more than 20 years. As an author I do great deal of typing, and the TrackPoint has virtually eliminated tendinitis that I used to suffer from using a traditional mouse (the tendinitis was almost disabling). So, I order lots of these to make sure I always have one. My newest purchase was a wireless, and it works extremely well. I highly recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard exceeded my expectations. It's a lot better than the previous version. I gave it a 4 star because the hand resting area squeaks when resting my hand on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is wonderful, it's a Thinkpad keyboard with the Trackpoint feature I love so I don't need a mouse, but what I really love is that I have it connected to one computer by the RF dongle and another computer directly with Bluetooth. I can hold one keyboard and alternate between two computers by flipping a switch. Reduces desktop clutter. Awesome product!

Very nearly the perfect compact keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic keyboard with excellent connectivity and battery life. The key travel and typing experience are both excellent. You can use the wireless dongle, Bluetooth or even wired mode. Works perfectly on all OSes. The trackpoint also works very well. The page up and down keys are different from the arrow keys and this makes them much easier to use. However, media keys would have been an excellent addition and backlighting would have made this a near perfect compact keyboard.

Good for max 2 devices, with its unique connection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The keyboard can AT MOST connect to two devices. It is required that one connection goes through the USB receiver, and one goes through Bluetooth.
Also, please note, the USB-C port is only for charging. Even with the cable shipped with the unit, when connected directly to the USB port through the cable, this keyboard stays with the previous connection mode, ether Bluetooth or USB receiver. Again, there is no such a thing as cabled-connection experience with this keyboard.
Swift Pair does work, but may only help when pairing with new devices. It does have "side effects", as of **forgetting** the previously connected Bluetooth devices. This saves 1/2 of the hassle to pair a **new** keyboard to a new computer, skipping the scanning and choosing step. However, it is NOT meant for hosting simultaneous Bluetooth-pairing among a set of computers: the Bluetooth pairing, once done, can only stay with the most recently connected device. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Constructive feedback on design decisions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and feel and chosen keyboard layout, and I’ve been a ThinkPad keyboard user for over 20 years! I do wish the USB connection could be used for desktops instead of wireless, and even more important, I wish there was a way to use software to swap the Fn and the left Ctrl keys, that would make it even more amazing!
