Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost perfect keyboard. Only issue I have found, which is fairly minor, is that it doesn't seem to support Windows 10 Bluetooth power metering, so I can't tell when it needs to be plugged in to recharge. But other than than that, the keyboard feel is much better than the same usb-Thinkpad keyboard I had before. This one has the perfect Thinkpad keyboard feel that I know and expect. Love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally one of the better mobile keyboards. Having the trackpoint is a great plus. Perhaps only downside is a small bug where in USB mode the Fn lock resets after a period of inactivity or restart, but the light does not reflect it is off.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is my second lenovo bluetooth keyboard. I have several bluetooth keyboards.. none of those are not reaching this level. and USB -C is good feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the feeling of typing on this as if it were an X1 Carbon but I can type with it anywhere on any bluetooth/usb device that I own
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Keyboard would be OK (Not great, it will never measure up to 41A5091 which was great) but it would be usable ACCEPT for the fact that the USB connector used is junk.
When discussing this keyboard you cannot use the phrase "If the USB connector fails throw out the keyboard.", you must use the phrase "WHEN the USB connector fails throw out the key board", it is absolutely rock solid sure the connector will fail and it will do it fast, because the USB connector is junk and not at all up to the task of maintaining a reliable connection. The connector will fail, it will fail after very little use, because of this the keyboard is trash within a very short time of deployment.
I am shocked that a company of Lenovo's stature would have such a poorly designed product.
I am also saddened that this poor example is the last TrakPoint keyboard in production. I like TrackPoint (A lot) I wish somebody would make a useful keyboard.
Thank You
Nick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really miss the old layout. The one with the vertical escape and delete keys. The size reduction is insignificant but the lots of function is. Plus the narrow palm rest sort of encourages my hands to stay high when I go for the arrow keys which makes me but the page up or down keys instead. Not a problem on my X1 with the exact same layout.
No Mac Bluetooth support, 2.4Ghz dongle is prone to wifi interference and causes keyboard to drop keypresses when tying. Wired USB is charging only, can't be used as a direct connection to PC. No wrist wrest so keyboard can't be used in your lap comfortably. Skip this version and get the previous wired version.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
