Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a wireless keyboard with a built in mouse. This is the most compact of the bunch, so it fit the bill. I also have the previous wired version, and compared to that, I like the grouped function keys, though I don't like the flat mouse buttons as much. I do wish it was backlit, though the keyboard serves well enough in its many roles.
I also appreciate that it is USB-C charging, which saves me from having to use a less common or proprietary cable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard is a game changer. The trackpoint allows for one device to serve as keyboard and mouse. This setup allows me to plug in my laptop to the TV and operate from the couch, kitchen, or wherever! This added convenience sparks much joy when I need to work or perform tasks.

Fantastic...with some annoying exceptions

I'm not going to repeat all the nice things others have said, as I entirely agree. And I would love to give this a 5/5, I really do. I've used both the USB- and Bluetooth- only models before and I was super excited about this one.
My gripe is about the trackpoint, specifically on Linux: it doesn't work the same as in the previous models. Horizontal scrolling does not work at all; and vertical scrolling works, but with the bizarre side-effect of a middle-button click. E.g., if your cursor happens to be on a link when you start scrolling, it will open the link in another tab; or if it's in a text box, it will paste text into it before scrolling away. So good luck scrolling on something like Google Docs...
Again, the previous models worked perfectly, which makes it all the more irritating that this one doesn't. Overall, I'd still buy this keyboard knowing this, but this is just not the 5/5 product it could've very easily been.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just like my old Trackpoint USB keyboard. The response is perfect. And the trackpoint really eases my carpal. Great product! It's my 4th one in 20 years...Thank you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately this keyboard has really bad flexing problems, additionally there is no way to remap the fn and ctrl keys in the bottom left of the keyboard. I was also under the belief when I purchased this keyboard that it would be alble to operate in a wired mode, however it only uses its usb c port for charging, not communicating the keyboard signal. If these features were added with a software update it would greatly improve my appreciation of the device

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a sk-8855 owner raised on t61p, x61, I like this one. Sturdy feel and love the usb option. Feels more solid than previous bluetooth version. Fn key light is useful and helps use F keys easier. Key travel is good, and the feel is great, on par with T25 anniversary edition. I think I am not even missing the 7th row anymore. I miss the context key, though. Pro tip: shift + F10 acheives the same. The thing I like the most is the left click feel. That alone is worth the purchase!

The keys are exactly the same as my Thinkpad laptop. The keyboard has 2 major issues:
1) Does not support Fn & Ctrl key swap
2) Trackpoint buttons are different (smaller) from the laptop version.
