Like playing music on a piano

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometime back i graduated to listening music via Klipsch speakers. It made me appreciate music more and stirred me to listening much more music. Same is the case with the ThinkPad keyboards. They get you addicted to typing. I want to use the keyboards so much that I don't want to copy and paste .I rather type the whole thing again just to feel the keys. They are like playing piano when I type. It's just so musical and relaxing typing on them. I cannot stop admiring them every time I touch them. A very beautiful piece of engineering. Great job ThinkPad team!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keyboard is well built and easy to set up. There aren't a lot of choices for a keyboard with a pointer stick but luckily this is a good one

Perfect Bluetooth Keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a mechanical keyboard that cost twice as much. This keyboard is just as good, and better, it offers the same typing experience I get on my Thinkpad. My fingers don't get confused switching between laptop and desktop.

Home away from home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this keyboard when I have my laptop on a stand. Battery life is great. I got a month or two of heavy use before needing more juice. No lag for my applications, though I can't speak for gaming. (I'd imagine serious gamers would be using wired devices anyway.) I like that I can use the same keyboard layout that I'm used to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great keyboard! Compatible with Mac, the only thing is the right and left mouse buttons are placed a bit further down than I would like.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wireless, especially using Bluetooth without receiver is the best way to connect to my computer. Typing feeling is good as Thinkpad keyboard.

So much Greatness in Lenovo's history!
on September 30, 2022
Posted by: Hammerfest
While my title calls out Lenovo's great history, its current products leave MUCH to be desired.
Lets go over its cons and why these are such HUGE cons
1a: FN Key location, where Ctrl is, probably the dumbest thing they could have done, and how to swap them is one of googles highest "searched for" with regards to Lenovo Keyboards (separate or laptop, it applies to both)
1b: This will stack with other con's but this one is huge, there is no easy, or moderate way to swap these keys on the dedicated keyboard, only on laptops. To make matters worse here, Lenovo reply has "no interest" in resolving this issue in current, and the big kicker FUTURE models...
2a: It comes with the "media" keys enabled by default instead of the F keys, with Lenovo's history of being used in a business where the F keys are most commonly used, this is maddening
2b: To make matters worse, It seems that the FN Lock does not survive device or connection swaps meaning you have to do it every time you power on the keyboard to connect to a system
3a: You cannot use the USB port as a 3rd possible connection like you can with almost any competitor's keyboard, such a huge miss here
3b: In conjunction with the above, its important to note that the rechargeable battery is NOT user replaceable, meaning when it dies, or if it cuts out right after the warranty ends (as seems common), outside of self-repair, its TRASH...
4a: Lenovo's website for the keyboard lists no downloads, you have to google search or go to the URL on the paper it ships with
4b: Even after you get to the right site, the manuals and such are not there, you have to use a different landing page for the keyboard to get them
4c: On the downloads page for the software, the readme for the drivers are outdated and thus useless
5a: Drivers don't actually offer any true customization, why even have them and claim "for full function install drivers"..
5b: No onboard memory for the keyboard means any settings much like FN Lock above is forgotten when connecting to a different/new system
Now, with all of these con's its important to note if you do your OWN research with google analytics to find out what the most common/related search term for the product is (model number or name), you will find almost all 5 of these are the very TOP search results, you can ALSO find HUGE threads over on the OFFICIAL lenovo forums where AGAIN, these are the top results.
It would NOT be so bad if Lenovo's reply was NOT actually WE DONT CARE and WE WONT CHANGE IT or WE WONT EVEN GIVE YOU THE OPTION to change it...
Literally insulting the customer.
The ONLY Pro I feel this deserves having used older models and Lenovo laptops for work for years, due to its combined keyboard/mouse nature, its nice to save space, but it will sadly not replace my current keyboard for IT on the go.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
