Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
I bought this keyboard for my wife to use with a laptop stand. The purpose was to raise the height of her laptop display. Her typing position using the laptop on the kitchen table was causing neck and shoulder pain due to the "hunched over" typing position. Looking at the laptop screen through bifocals only made things worse. This Keyboard II is wireless, light weight and very convenient to place and use. It is laid out exactly the same as her Lenovo laptop keyboard, so nothing new to get used to. Very happy with the quality, keyboard touch, etc. Would buy again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great remote keyboard. It seems to be exactly the same keyboard as the last generation of the Carbon X1. The new X1 has a shorter keystroke.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give it 5 stars, but the Bluetooth option has a weird bug where pressing WINDOWS+SHIFT+RIGHTARROW doesn't work at all. It works fine with the 2.4Ghz dongle, so I'm using that for now, but would prefer to use Bluetooth.
Otherwise, this is a wonderful keyboard, works really really well and is just like my Lenovo laptop keyboard that I've gotten used to over the years! Great product, but needs a firmware update to fix this Bluetooth bug!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to get here but it was worth the wait. It’s everything I love about the thinkpad typing experience in a slick and thin package. Super happy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall great. Love the USB and Bluetooth support. Love the built in track pad/pointer. Makes it very convenient for couch-TV use. The only flaw I see is the depth of the space bar compared to the front keyboard lip where you rest your palms on. With most keyboards I can tap the space at with my thumbs pretty comfortably. But due to the front lip being slightly taller than the spacebar you really have to force your thumb down to hit the space bar. The design just needs some tweaks to perfect it. Build quality is also very nice. Doesn’t feel cheap, though I would always prefer metal over plastic. I see note value here compared to an apple keyboard due to the built in mouse, but it’s slightly behind in comfort.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected. Great typing experience, just like the ThinkPad laptops. Dual connectivity is great.
