Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
Fantastic keyboard. Solid construction, deep key travel, and compact, freeing up deskspace. Love that it has wireless usb because I use it with my monitor’s built in KVM switch — so I can easily switch between my Linux and Mac setups. One suggestion for Mac users: I remapped cmd and alt keys so they match Apple’s layout and used a label maker to create stickers for those keys to indicate their new purpose. (I suppose It could physically swap the keys but I don’t want to find out the hard way that it’s not possible!)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when I saw that the trackpoint keyboard was updated, and I just had to get this and check it out. Features wise, it's a great configuration! I love having the freedom to connect either wired, Bluetooth, or even the classic and reliable wireless USB dongle. The wireless range and quality is fantastic and was able to still use the keyboard from a couple rooms over. The USB C for the wired connection also a definite bonus!
The build quality is honestly much better than I expected. While it looks slightly light and plastic-y, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it has a good weight to it and is very rigid and strong. There's almost no flex while typing and is clearly reinforced internally which makes for a super strong build and fantastic typing experience. The keyboard has the same classic ThinkPad feel with just a little more tactile feel which i personally really like. The trackpoint is exactly like what I'm used to from my thinkpad and I have no complaints there either.
Overall I'm very happy with this new keyboard and very glad Lenovo did this refresh! I'm excited to keep this keyboard on me as I move between several devices and locations and taking full advantage of it's small size and great connectivity versatility. Well done Lenovo!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this product back in October 2020. Loved the keyboard on my thinkpad and wanted a wireless version. The keys and trackpoint on the keyboard did not disappoint. Was everything I was looking for. Keyboard is also very lightweight. However, about 6 months after use, the tilt keys did not hold up. See attached picture. After looking through the support site, seemed like a lot people had the same experience. So if the tilt feet is a big selling point for you, take caution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels good. Very thin and light. Sound is quite. The red dot controled movement of cursor is not fast though.
Great compact keyboard if you're used to ThinkPads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm used to typing on ThinkPad laptop keyboards so I wanted the same experience in my desktop and this is perfect for that.
The only complaint I have is compared to the ThinkPad laptops that I have, the keys on this seem to have been made from lower quality plastics.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The feel of the key presses is great - smooth and tactile. Your mileage may vary if you don't like shallow keys with short travel distances. My only gripes are I wish the function and ctrl keys switched places and that the track point was more responsive.
