Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product, wishing there was a version that had a number pad as part of the device to make it a full size desktop keyboard replacement.
Having a wireless dongle and Bluetooth at the same time is fancy but it is not available to pairing other devices with keyboard short key.
so, I have to switch on and off between dongle/Bluetooth and PC/Android.
The signature Fn key is annoying me until I get used to it.
Also, It doesn't have a battery indicator. I can't know how much battery remains.
If Lenovo provides the key mapping through software to swap the Fn key and Cntl key, It would be perfect.
But this track point overcomes all of the negative points.
Good device but a lot of lack.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is so much to like about this keyboard - trackpoint, good key travel in a compact form factor.
BUT, the fact that it's impossible to swap the Fn and Ctrl keys is ridiculous. Ctrl is a super high-usage key, and unequivocally belongs in the bottom right-most position of every keyboard. I honestly don't know why Lenovo persist in putting the Fn there at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo keyboards are top notch, and I like this one even better than my 1st gen wired one. I wanted a wireless version (not bluetooth) and this one gives me both options. However, Lenovo continues to charge a very high price for a keyboard whose only selling point is that it's a thinkpad syle keyboard. What will make this more worthy of the price is BACKLIGHTING! PLEASE make the gen III version backlit. Then it will be perfect.
One of the best keyboard for the money with 2 cons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top notch keyboard with trackpoint. Typing experience is second to none. There are two things that would make this better. There is no backlight for the keys. Most of these are used for home theater pc so having backlight is useful in the dark. I would recommend a sliding switch on the side for turning it on and off, similar to the on/off switch. 2nd is that the 3 mouse buttons don't have enough texture between them that I have a hard time trying to switch between left clicking and middle for scrolling. I ended up clicking the wrong button too many time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great, feels nice, and I love having a trackpoint on my desk! Now my notepad can go where I really always wanted it to be... exactly where my mouse used to live.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] More impressed than I though I'd be. The keyboard is comfortable to use and the TrackPoint is not stiff or so sensitive I trigger it by just brushing over it. Waiting to see how the battery holds out.
