Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great wireless keyboard. Setup and connection was easy. Battery life is great -- I used this for work every day for 4 weeks, and I still have not had to recharge it. The "feel" and "response" of the keys is great. I'm a huge fan of the Trackpoint for mouse movements. For me, it is better than a touch pad.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As expected, my new Lenovo keyboard feels just like my Lenovo laptop. Thanks go to one of your employees when I chatted with them.
The keyboard is very nice to type on the trackpoint works well, it connects quickly with either Bluetooth or via the USB receiver, and the layout is mostly familiar to ThinkPad fans.
I say mostly because on every other ThinkPad I’ve owned, I can swap the Fn and Ctrl key. I use the control key a lot and it’s been frustrating. I’m actually thinking about returning the keyboard for this one flaw.
It would also be nice for the Fn key to be better documented. Through trial and error I’ve found some of the key mappings (e.g. Fn-S for print screen). Even better would be if the driver would let me use the Fn key for my own stuff via simple keyboard macros.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first ThinkPad arrived at my home on a Friday. After spending the weekend working on the laptop I was instinctively looking for the TrackPoint on my work desktop keyboard on Monday. Over the last several years I've spent as much or more traveling as working from my home office, so I've normally just worked directly on my laptop. Since COVID has restricted travel I've re-imagined my home office and started using an external keyboard for my laptop. I quickly missed the TrackPoint and found this keyboard. The best think I can say about this keyboard is, for me, it is as good as "the real thing"!
The keyboard is really nice and give me freedom to keep my laptop closed when I use external display. same time the keyboard layout is very similar to laptop keyboard. I like this style.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't used a TrackPoint since the mid 90s so I knew there was going to be a bit of a learning curve but it's a welcome addition to my setup. After making a few email blasts I'm excited at the thought of getting comfortable with this keyboard. It's clean, low profile, and enhances my workflow in many scenarios.
