The build quality is so bad it broke in a year...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] But I am buying another one. When it works it is such a fantastic tool. But when I got it, it would creak every time I placed my hand on it (just left side). Within 1 month of getting it the left side foot had broken. Within 6 months, and with normal use it developed a deep crack on the top left side. No Impact other than dropped my phone on it from a height of about 2 inches that caught the corner a couple of times. I am hoping I got a lemon, I should have been more careful of that side since it had been creaking from day one. Oh well.
I am going to "Not recommend" for now, I really dont want to drop the cash on a replacement but here I am. Even if the second one is fantastic this is going to be a not recommended from me cause QC.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This keyboard is pretty sweet, it has the classic thinkpad design. I wish the function and control keys were swapped but no big deal.

You can't use it with terminal and scrollable content, because events related to middle key works different than all other lenovo keyboards. It you want to scroll terminal - for example - you won't scroll it, but paste the content of your clipboard. The keyboard is good for someone who don't use trackpoint.
Lenovo is not going to fix a bug, so buying it is pointless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's amazing to have a compact, wireless keyboard that matches my laptop - no need to habituate to different layouts! The bluetooth has been super reliable and responsive. The battery easily lasts more than a week, even with heavy use. USB-C charging is simple.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent keyboard. The most practical option if you are addicted to Trackpoint keyboards, as I am.
I have the previous generations (both USB and bluetooth based):
* Lenovo Thinkpad SK-8855 USB Wired Keyboard With TrackPoint - an amazing keyboard! in terms of typing, really the best I've used - I'd love to see a wireless version of that!
* Lenovo wireless keyboard with trackpoint (previous generation) - the one I've been using until now. it has slightly better mouse buttons - they are textured better so easier to locate with the thumb.
This one (ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II) upgrades from micro-USB charging to USBC, both wifi and bluetooth (vs. just bluetooth), can support multiple devices more easily.
very portable, I take it to work in my backpack.
Loving it so far! it might not be perfect - but it's pretty close.
working from a Mac, I did have to use "Karabiner Elements" to prevent the middle mouse button from firing when I scroll - which caused random opening of links in the browser.
also switched layout of option and command buttons to the mac layout.
Thanks Lenovo for supporting the Trackpoint lovers community!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good keyboard, works well but trackpoint red stick doesn't work as smoothly as a standalone mouse, and there's no backlight to the keyboard
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for me. I wanted a keyboard that would replicate my keyboard experience on my x1 yoga thinkpad and this is perfect. I do miss the number keys on the right-hand side but you get over it because the rest of the tying experience is very smooth.
I would recommend this to a friend!
