Customer Reviews for Lenovo - ThinkPad TrackPoint Keyboard II (US English) - Wired/Wireless Connectivity - Bluetooth - 2.40 GHz - USB Type A In - Black
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the lenovo keyobard bluetooth II. My first laptop several years before is a thinkpad 14 inch one, whose keyboard is best one as I used. Later when I switched to MacBook pro, I began to buy thinkpad bluetooth keyboard for coding. Till now, I have owned 2 thinkpad bluetooth I keyboard, 3 thinkpad bluetooth keyboard with 3 devices switchable and one of this 2nd generation. The first several ones are similar feeling when typing. Compared to this one, the previous generations may have around 1/4 more range that I feels a little better. However, the reduced range seems to make the each key more stable and that let typing feel more confident and accurate. So hard to say which one is better. One of the big issue with thinkpad keyboard is that it is very easy to be greasy (e.g. after one month usage or so) that make it less comfortable. The matte texture at the surface helps a lot for typing feel while seems wear out soon. Since this generation also use ABS but not PBT key, I guess sooner or later it will appear. One concern of this generation is only switchable between two devices and the switching is not that convenient to control (a tiny switcher on the border, while I prefer a key for this).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great keyboard which works almost exactly the same as my X1 Carbon keyboard. My only gripe is that the FN Lock can't be inverted (default to on with when the light is off) like it can in the BIOS on ThinkPad devices. Any easy way to check the battery life would also be a great addition.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard exceeded my expectations. It's a lot better than the previous version. I gave it a 4 star because the hand resting area squeaks when resting my hand on it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the Zoom environment, I needed a keyboard that was father away from my screen so the camera did not show an upward picture. This keyboard allows me to keep the screen at eye level. I also wanted this keyboard because I like having the track button and navigation buttons on the keyboard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The key touching is very good. It reminds me of the thinkpad series I used before. Those who used to use thinkpad laptops will be very satisfied. :)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVE this keyboard! It's got everything I want from a ThinkPad keyboard. It's basically the keyboard I love on my ThinkPads but in a wire-free format. The ability to switch between the dongle and Bluetooth make it SUPER useful in my setup where I've got two separate computers. Now I can have them up on stands for better viewing and use 1 keyboard (with TrackPoint!) to control both. Exactly what I wanted and super easy to use and setup.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it - I am used to the ThinkPad feel since I am using my 3rd ThinkPad now and having this as an external keyboard is great for me. It seems to me that the Function Key Lock doesn't always stay on, but this may just be a software issue. Otherwise great.
