Bought this to add to my current surveillance NVR. Already had a 4 year old WD Purple 3GB and have added more cameras since, so thought adding another drive would be smart in the long run.
Installed with no issue and it is up and running. Only a few weeks, no issues (of course). The previous WD Purple has been running non-stop for 4 years with no issues. This is why I keep with this brand.
I would recommend this to a friend!
