I chose this particular surge protector for its top 3 ratings. I researched surge protectors and several websites had this model in the top 3 every time. I love the fact that when the protector is no longer protecting your electronics then it won't let electricity through. It really protects.

Just purchased this surge protection, long cord and has plug at right angle to the wall so does not stick out too far. Seems to be well built. Spacing for small transformers. Only time will telll as far as protection. So far,I am please. Will be buying another one as is very reasonably priced.
