Connects perfectly and boots right in. I am using it now and getting used to its small shiny shape and am liking it, I am going to like this mouse it works perfectly with my older Elitebook Laptop. Great Job HP i like this setup right now it is doing me good for school and school related work.

Good looking mouse, it's a shame it doesn't work as well as it looks. The scroll wheel spring is too soft, allowing you to click it when you don't mean to. And, after a little over a month of use, the scroll wheel has become very noisy, sounds like one of my old ones after a couple of years. Battery life is very bad. It requires 2 AAA batteries, and the first set died at about a month. I'm used to mice that use a singe AA and might need need a new one in 3-4 months.
