Great portable keyboard

I needed a portable keyboard that I can take with me for work and since I love my personal x200 keyboard I figured that this new compact USB keyboard would be a great place to start.
The keyboard worked fine in plug and play mode but installing the Lenovo driver allows changes to the TrackPoint speed which was a nice improvement for my setup.
I took off one star for the design since I still prefer the old style keys but overall no one else comes close for laptop keyboards.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this keyboard! It is really similar to the keyboard in my X1 carbon which is why I bought it. Spacing of the keys is great. Key travel is not too short like some similar keyboards. It is slightly louder and stiffer than the laptop keyboard but I think it may loosen up after some use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nearly identical touch and feel to my Yoga X1 laptop keyboard. Compact and carpel tonal free! Great to have the same keyboard layout when docked at home as when on the road.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned ThinkPad laptops for 20 years and find the TrackPoint feature to be indispensable for moving the cursor without having to reach for a mouse. So naturally I wanted a TrackPoint keyboard for my Lenovo Y720 desktop. This keyboard is surprisingly compact while providing a comfortable key spacing for typing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for when you want to dock your laptop, but not have to adjust to a different keyboard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that Thinkpad keyboard, matches my laptops, very low finger throw, IBM designed. Plus a small footprint on the desktop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You need to release a firmware update that lets you switch the FN and CTRL keys. Every keyboard on the planet is like this, and I don't understand why a design team would refuse to do it. It costs nothing to implement and would expand your usability pool tremendously.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
