[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the keyboard from my carbon x1, but it's approaching it's end of life. Additionally, I've got several other computers I use on a more frequent basis. It's nice to have this familiar keyboard wherever I go
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The original (like the one on my X220) is perfect. This one is good for typing, has correct size. Just a couple of issues: 1) keys are a little bit. 2) The USB port position is a bit awkward. Better position it on the side or use a more flexible USB cable.

Middle mouse button is broken
on January 18, 2016

I wish I had read the other review about the middle mouse button before my purchase! It's broken - dragging with it is not possible, the keyboard pretends like it's a scroll wheel.
It seems the Windows driver supports toggling this, but since it's done in the firmware of the keyboard, Linux users are up the creek.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a compact keyboard that would fit on a shelf in front of a 19 inch rack. The TrackPoint is a bonus since I can probably get rid of the mouse too. The key action feel is great and construction quality seems to be good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great little keyboard. Though don't expect much support from ThinkPad - if a key or a leg breaks, they will just recommend you buy a new keyboard.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Key press is gentle and smooth, yet still has positive feedback. Also, I don’t need a keypad, so on an ordinary keyboard just wastes space. One disappointment for me was that the left CTRL key and the WINDOWS key are interchanged from where I am used to having them. Will Take some getting used to.

Not as good as the keyboard in your Thinkpad

I've used Thinkpads for years. I love that keyboard and need the trackpoint. However this one does NOT have the right feel. If you are going to use the keyboard all day and except that same excellent feel, do not get this keyboard. I had to give up on it. There ARE other earlier USB keyboards from Lenovo that have "the feel" (e.g. model SK-8855), but this one ain't quite right.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
