The first mini fridge I bought in April 2015 lasted about 4 months. It had a defect and the place I bought it exchanged it for another Danby in August. So far, this fridge is working fine. I hope that the first one was just a fluke but only time will tell. However, the company seems to stand behind their products, which is a good sign that in general their projects are reliable.

We use this as a garage fridge to hold extras. It's a perfect fridge and keeps things at the ideal temperature, even during the summer when the ambient garage temperature was in the 90's.
