It's only the outer screen. I was looking for both (inner and outer screens) and couldn't find anything that specified whether this had protectors for one or both. Unfortunately, just one, and the one I didn't really need.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This screen protector is the best I’ve seen. I’ve tried all different screen protectors and this one seems to hold up the best and the clarity is amazing and with the blue light filter really works good.
