cable won't charge iphone 11 Pro Max

I have tried 2 of the fast charge premium lighting to usb-c cables for iphone 11 Pro Max. They both have the same problem. They won't charge phone and it loses battery % while plugged into apple 18 watt fast wall charger. I left otter box cable charging phone for 5 hours and phone went from 75% charge to 67% charge. I hook phone to apple cable and it is 100% charged in 45 minutes.

It’s great if I had a usb-c box to plug it into. I didn’t realize when I saw the suggestion to buy a lightning power cord that it was a usb-c because for the longest time everything has been just usb and why change it? If you’re going to change it send out an email or have power box with it. I don’t even own a computer that has a usb-c port. Besides that now the cord is strong and I like the rubber band thing comes with it very strong, a little too bulky. I had to buy a usb-c power box and it does charge my phone pretty fast. The main reason I got it was for my car but my car only has a USB port and cigarette lighter plug in so how do use it everywhere or anywhere because the world adapted to USB ports in stores, house plugins, cars, etc. Why make a product with limited use? Unless it’s for a gamer like on Twitch or a college student.
