This backlight does exactly what it says it will do. Excellent enhancement to any TV. I just hope it last longer than the previous (cheaper one from a different vendor) did. So far, very pleased. The app also has numerous adjustments for those that like to "customize". Thank you Govee!

This is my second Govee tv backlight purchase. We love them and it adds a really cool dimension to watching tv and movies. And you don’t need to be watching a movie with lots of explosions or CGI to have a cool lighting experience. The effect is really immersive.
My only complaint is that the setup- specifically configuring the camera to read the screen is really difficult. I wish Govee could come up with a simpler system that didn’t involve sticking foam markers to my tv screen. We eventually figured it out but I wish it had been more straightforward.

I was really excited to get this product but after installation it isn't anything like i anticipated. The colors don't really match the tv and it just doesn't feel anything like advertised.
