bought the 40–50 inch version specifically for my 50-inch TV, and I’m very disappointed. The light strip is too short to properly cover the corners of the TV, so I do not get an even glow around the entire screen. There are obvious gaps in the lighting, which defeats the purpose of having a TV backlight.
I contacted Govee because I thought there had to be something wrong with the sizing. I was told that this is how it is supposed to fit and that I could simply return it if I wasn’t happy. I find that very frustrating because a product advertised for 40–50 inch TVs should properly fit a 50-inch TV, including the corners.
I’m including photos so buyers can see exactly what the 40–50 inch version looks like on a 50-inch TV. Had I known it would leave these gaps, I would not have purchased it.

Awesome concept; but not as good as expected. The light transitions are not smooth and very noticeable. stopped using it after 1 week it was so bad.
