The screws suck that are sent out with the stuff, recommend buying a seperate parties 2 hole strap or something different. Screws are also #1 Phillips head. Lights themselves are pretty cool but the adhesive is dog poop. Recommend supporting every 12-16”. The app itself is easy to use but majority of the premade functions are bleh. The shared area however is nice for premade things.
These lights are bright and beautiful once installed but there are a few downsides to installing these as permanent lights. First, the connections and plugs are all black but the lights are white which blends nicely into the soffit. On their other string lights, the cables are also white (my neighbor has them) which makes sense. Secondly, I bought the pro versions of the lights. Unfortunately, these are very limited on the ability to customize the length when trying to cover the entire circumference of my home. They are not trimmable. The 98ft set of lights has 3 SETS of 32.8ft that need to be connected instrad of being one solid strip. I need 8 sets to cover my home but that leaves excess and requires lots of hidden black wires and extra outlets because you can only connect 3 sets, which is in the description but it failed to say the 3 sets were the total of the 98ft in one box.

Outdoor LED Strip Lights

I should have foreseen this. As soon as I got the replacement lights working, in advance of July 4th, the last of the original RGBICWW Outdoor LED Strip Lights model number H70A2 stopped working. The IP65 waterproof rating that you advertise only means that it is generally suited for rain. It clearly does not protect the integrated circuit or the bluetooth connectivity. All three of my RGBICWWOutdoor LED Strip Lights have failed in less than a year. The lights and the control box are positioned under the eaves of my house. Does this mean that I have to remove the control box, when they are not in use, and store them indoors?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
