Really doesn’t have the affect I see on their commercials where the backlight just illuminates everything around and colors are vaguely imitated from the screen

It doesn't work properly. I've had to recalibrate it several times; it's never perfect, and every time I turn the TV off and on again, the lights stop following the color pattern shown on the TV. I was really looking forward to this purchase, but now I'm just disappointed.

Installed on tv as directed. Had to play with the saturation and coloring as some of the colors were not matching up as expected. Also, the clips for holding wire on back of tv were flimsy and poorly held the cables. Therefore, had to buy something third party. Overall, pretty good and adds to my tv watching.
