My kids were thrilled. The pre programmed displays are awesome, but adding your own words or designs is very challenging and the app is not very intuitive to navigate. Sometimes I can find a screen that lets me edit and then I'll click on everything looking for it next time and can't find it anywhere. I'd love a lot more selections of pie programmed animated scenes.

The lights are fantastic, you can have a lot of fun with them but too many times they drop connection to the app and it takes several restarts to pair them again via Bluetooth
