Awesome product! Anyone looking for curtain lights I have to recommend these, installation was pretty self explanatory and having the clips at the bottom to keep them straight makes a huge difference. The App options are cool and addition of AI works well.

I bought the curtain lights for my garage, the Mrs. made me. I love that I'm able to do everything with the lights from the Govee app. The LEDs are very bright, but you can dim them easily. Now the parts that I don't care for that much at all. The instructions are very detailed and easy to follow...NOT. I had to figure everything out on my own. It took me around an hour to install, so that wasn't that bad. The thing that I hate is that after the lights are installed almost all of the LEDs strips are twisted and so that makes them face the garage door instead of facing out. That drives me crazy. I've tried to twist, unkink, straighten the cord, but it just goes back facing the garage door. I wish I had a steamer like my wife uses to unwrinkle fabric.

Initially Great, But Not Built to Last

I first purchased v1 of this product, which was phenomenal for about 2 months before it stopped being programmable (just a few lights turn on and not in the colors programmed to light up). Received a warranty replacement, which lasted 14 months and then had the same problem. I paid for a v2 replacement and repeated the cycle with the first one only lasting a short time then the second also dying, just outside of warranty. I use this for holidays only and put it away carefully in the box between uses. I estimate that I haven't had one last more than about 700 hours despite carefully encasing the power and controller when used outdoors. I contacted support and was offered a 10% discount on a replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For the price I expected the images to be much easier to make out, also the application is unnecessarily difficult to use and was very difficult to use to try to create/make my own images. I'll wait for you to come out with a higher density curtain that delivers better images and resolution and hopefully by then you'll have updated and upgraded the application as well.
