My govee lamp was functional for approximately two weeks before not working anymore. No tyoe of damage happened to it, it just stopped working. Disapponting.

I love all my Govee products except this one. This is just an awful product.
I thought I was buying a floor lamp, but what I got was a short section of the Govee outdoor LED strip and 4 sections of metal half-tube that screw together to make a holder for the strip. The strip doesn't fit into this tube very well. On the areas with the brackets that attach the tubes it sticks out, and in the other areas it has a tendency to sink in. This makes it look lumpy and uneven, especially when it's on. It's very short - much shorter than you would guess from the pictures. The cord in the base is oriented so the lighting is indirect. I.e. goes out the back to reflect off a wall. But it's not bright enough to illuminate even a tiny space that way.
So it wasn't a total waste, I ended up removing the LED strip and repurposing that. I threw the metal tubes and base away.

I would give zero stars if I could. This did not work at all and I had to put it together and take it apart multiple times to check. Would not recommend.

I bought a pair of these to brighten our dining room. They are minimalist in design and do a good job, but I feel they could be brighter. That said, as far as integration into the Govee universe, they are awesome. They integrate into dreamscape and the music modes are awesome!
I would recommend this to a friend!
