Toaster wont stay down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened the box and was running thru the second run of cleaning off the dust and oil and the left side slot wont stay down

Sleek and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that I can toast two bagels or English muffins at one time. When you are trying to get all your kids out of the door in the morning who wants to sit in front of a toaster forever. Makes breakfast time a breeze. Toasts great, I like the optional settings. My one feedback would be that the chrome plate On top seems to be discoloring or staining in between the two toasters. Otherwise I love the beautiful design!

Toaster with Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not only does it toast the bread and bagels better than the previous other high-end toaster we are replacing, it is solid, functionally well-designed, compact for a 4-slot toaster, and its style would go with any decor. I especially like the capability to wind the excess cord underneath the appliance: it looks better and is safer. I just started using the appliance but already I think it is a "winner."

Best toaster I’ve ever owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster is beautiful and matches my newly remodeled kitchen and appliances perfectly. More importantly, it toasts evenly and has great features. You can set the preferences differently for the two halves of the toaster. Same with the bagel, frozen, and warmup buttons. No waiting required; two people can use the toaster at once using their individual preferences! Grazie Mille!

Read great things about it, but not that impressed

The sides don't toast evenly. The left side has to be turned all the way up to 7 to get the toast even moderately browned, while the right side toasts it just fine on level 4. It also takes a really long time to toast. I am overall a little disappointed in the product. Not disappointed enough to go through the hassle of returning it, but disappointed enough that I won't purchase a toaster from this brand again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
