It is not clear if we can turn the switch off (even if we are not supposed to plug it off) during the cooling process.

Pizzas as they should be - unless like me you forget to use polenta as a 'lubricant' and the pizza base sticks to the middle of the peel, causing the toppings to enter the oven sans pizza base, creating massive burning, smoke and panic.... that's what we used to call 'user defined error' in the IT business. All well since, pizzas coming out great!

Good so far… first pizza became a calzone, but we quickly regrouped to change our prep process and made 5 more personal pizzas successfully. So much better than baking in the oven. Very excited to have this in our arsenal of appliances!
