Okay but the restrictions were disappointing.

It did the job. The restrictions regarding what you can place it on were disappointing. The nature of this type of warming tray is something that you want to take to events and put it on whatever tables are there which often are wooden or plastic folding tables or have tablecloths on them. That's what I bought it for . You should sell this with a heat resistant insulative pad or tray allowing you to place it on anything as long as it's on the pad or tray.
