It says it’s at temp for Neapolitan but it’s only 400°. Is this unit defective?

Makes a great pizza

Despite it making a great pizza, I am concerned that the rubber gasket trim around the opening of the oven door was broken or not installed correctly. After using this only 1 time I can see the rubber pulling away on 1 side and smoke leaks out of that corner excessively. I think I need a replacement oven and would be happy to return this one.
