Weak swivel joint

This mount was surprisingly small compared to another that I ordered previouslyMounting Dream MD2413-MX TV Wall Mount Bracket for most of 26-55 Inch LED, LCD, OLED Flat Screen TV with Full Motion Swivel Articulating Arm, up to VESA 400x400mm and 60 LBS with Tilting, for Monitor. While the latter was definitely built of higher quality and much more sturdy, the Mount-It! bracket fulfills its purpose since my 40\ flat screen TV only weighs about 15lbs. Although the mount is actually rated for up to 30lbs

Instructions are wrong

It's a barebones bracket. My main gripe is with the mounting instructions and hardware. The directions clearly state to use a 1/2" masonry bit to predrill the holes and insert the wall anchors. The problem is that the supplied anchors are only 3/8" and just spin in the holes. I had to make a special trip to the big box store to get anchors that would fit the 1/2" holes I had already drilled. To avoid this, be sure to measure the anchors that came with your kit before you start drilling.

STABLE, easy to install, didn't have the correct screws for my TV.

The hardware to mount it to the wall is very good and it is very stable. It comes with a variety of screws to mount to models to tv. But this is also the reason for 4/5 stars. It doesn't come with the correct length of screw to mount on the Samsung Q8FN series of tv. I'm not sure if this is because Samsung changes screw types for their 2018 models, or if it is because of the mount manufacturer over site.Again, very stable, easy to set up, the included level was way off. I used my home level to install. When I get the proper screws I am sure I will enjoy my new TV with this mount.
