This is not a very sturdy workout bench. It's easy to put together, light and easy to move/store. However, when doing reclined presses, it feels tippy. I wouldn't do anything particularly physical, requiring trust that it will still be where you need it to be, nor heavy weights. I'll stick with dumbbells with this one. The rubber bands, although good in theory are weak in execution. I wanted to return it but covering the shipping to do so didn't make it worthwhile. I'm using it as a piano bench now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
