Little Girls Practice Babysitting With Skipper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie Skipper Babysitters Inc has many different collections, and this collection is chock full of accessories! There’s a twin rocking horse, twin crib, twin swing and even a play gym, but for a single baby. The play gym’s two dangling toys can also go on the crib. Nice touch! Plenty of toys (trains and bears) with bottles and bibs. Also two blankets when the twins need to nap.
Skipper is dressed in lavender dress with pink hearts, a brunette with a purple steak in her hair. The doll’s left arm is bent to hold a baby, but her arms and knees do not articulate. Too bad. I prefer the dolls that you can pose. I personally like the brunette dolls much better, though, probably since I am a brunette. The twin babies are blond with arms and legs that do move so they can fit into their swing and rocking horse. Each has a different colored diaper, pink and blue. Love the twin crib.
I was impressed with this doll set. I gave to my granddaughter who is seven. She loves all things Barbie, and as a new big sister, this set was perfect. My granddaughter has always been fond of miniature toys, so the tiny baby accessories were a hit. The nice thing about this Barbie Skipper Babysitter Collection is that you can add to it with other babysitter sets offered by Mattel. They are fun to collect and I intend to add to my granddaughter’s set. This set is timeless, and if your child is lucky enough to own a Barbie or two, she can expand scenarios with Barbie and Ken as mom and dad.
I would absolutely recommend this set as a gift for any little girl 3+. And for mom and dad, the unboxing is relatively easy. Always a plus for anxious children ready to play.

Twins!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child loved this toy, she kept calling the doll mom instead of babysitter but makes no difference to me, could pass for a younger mom. She loved the fact there was two babies! She wanted to feed the babies as the "mom" but arms dont bend so although you can put the bottle in moms hand you cant actually feed the baby cause her arms dont bend, sigh knees also dont bend so different dolls from when i was young. My child had so much fun with sleeping, feeding, rocking and holding i just wished the larger doll moved more in her joints, oh also i had to rubber band her shoes on so they did not fall off and her hair was strange, it was not even in a cut across and longer in spots across the bottom, maybe thats a trend now? When i was young our dolls had hair to the floor and crimpy even but not crimpy, maybe a defect but maybe something thats a trend that i am unaware

Double the fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Skipper babysitting set comes with twin infants and lots of little baby accessories. My daughter loves playing house and babysitter, so this set is right up her alley and she is having fun with it.
However, from a parent's perspective, it could definitely use some improvements. The plastic furniture that comes with this set is very flimsy. The swing was impossible to put together in a usable way without super glue. I felt like I was going to snap it in half trying to get the pieces to click in together - they never did. The babies are a little difficult to position into the rocker, but I don't mind helping. Also, double the babies means double the little accessories. Fun for the kids! But more to keep track of for the adults.
I wish they would swap out some of the furniture or accessories for cute little baby clothes, they are only in diapers.

This could be a fun addition to a Barbie collection, but beware the drawbacks.

Comes with everything you need

We added to our outdoor barbie toys, the swing was alittle loose but i just glued it together. Babies can swing, sleep. Super nice addition to my girls barbie toys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loves the Barbie Skipper Babysitter Doll with Twins! She loves playing with baby dolls, and this set takes her playtime with babies to the next level. There is so much to do in this set with the babies, from napping in the crib, to playtime in the baby swing. My daughter has had endless hours of fun with this Barbie set. Most pieces are easy to use for her, and there was really only one to two she needed my help with. The rest she can do, and this set definitely promotes creativity and free play.

She has played with this set everyday since we received it. She loves to have Skipper carry the dolls, she loves to put the twins on the teeter totter, she loves to “put them down for naps” in their bed, and she loves the swing. This nursery play set is a great addition to any little girls playroom!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie, Skipper, Babysitters Inc. Play set is really cute. The double crib is just too cute. My daughter liked it had twins with blond hair. It's very durable and well crafted with sturdy plastic that holds its form great. The pieces are very vibrant colored. The sparkle hair purple is adorable and so up to date modern. Really like this set and it has given hours of fun play time that is interactive and engaging between us.

Toys but are a little different. She also loves Skippers hair and that she can take care of the two babies. We had a little trouble with the swing staying together and that’s a little upsetting for her. All in all though a great toy!
