[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brooklyn Barbie Dream Besties Get Ready with Barbie is a really fun interactive doll. The hair is really soft with a subtle wave. It comes with lots of little accessories, the smallest of which can be stored inside 2 of the 3 hair rollers. Before opening up the rollers to see they were boxes, I had wished it came with something to store the little things so they won't get lost and I'm pleasantly surprised to see those needs being anticipated! She comes with a robe and bear slippers and a cute sparkly stretch bubble skirt dress. The cucumber eye mask fits very securely around the ears. We couldn't get the hair chalk to work very well, but maybe with some more practice or can be figured out. Regardless, that's just a small part of an overall fun playset that has so many possibilities for play.

Fun and cute doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll was a huge hit. The accessories are easy for young kids to use and make sense with the product. Nothing feels wasted or out of place. My daughter enjoyed the hair paint so much, even if it was a little hard for her to do on her own. I had better luck just showing her how to put hair on the color and pull straight down instead of closing and using the button.

Cute hairstyling doll playset!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its been a super busy few weeks for us here since back to school started, luckily this was the perfect pick me up in our household! The playset focuses on the idea of getting ready to go out and comes with some cute spa selfcare accessories such as the robe and slippers and the cucumber goggles. I love the focus on self care, as its certainly something everyone needs! It came with a cute dress and shoes too. Of course the main focus was on hair as well with some non functional plastic makeup accessories. I overall think the toy is great and it was refreshing to see such healthy proportions on dolls as this is the first time we have really gotten to enjoy the new dream besties line, but some things worked slightly better than others. Specifically I was shocked there wasn't any sort of other clothing under the robe, I felt like a purse would have been a good inclusion for the going out outfit, and the chalk didn't really work or show up well on the dark hair sadly, oh and since it is such a hair focused product including a bigger brush to use on the dolls hair would have been good too. I did also notice it said the chalk isn't meant for kids human hair which I found a bit shocking but I don't really want hair chalk all over my house anyways. Overall, great product, and very fun and sets a good example for children in my opinion.

Cute but so many pieces

But we could barely get in other packaging the pieces were so tiny and so tough to get out. They played for a few minutes and then moved on and haven’t picked it up since. It also stained out ottoman where they are playing. It’s cute but I wouldn’t buy it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Much Play Value!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is so much fun. The amount of accessories it has is astounding, from the hair clips, curlers, hair chalk to just name a few. My daughter had so much fun taking her Barbie from getting ready to going out! The doll has so many joints; her wrists, ankles, elbows that it makes her poseable to fit every scenario. As a parent, my favorite part is that the curlers open up for storage for the hair accessories!

It’s never a dull moment watching my sweet girl play especially when I get invited to join, this set sparked a lot of creativity with the realistic pieces to play “beauty shop” and we appreciate the inclusivity of different shades and shapes of the dolls!
