Getting this on the wall was fine. You need to pre-drill the holes (and probably deeper than you think you do) but once it was on the wall it is solid. The tilt mechanism is a bit hinky. You need to loosen the tilt before you try to mount the TV because otherwise (at least with a VESA 400x400 set up) there is no way you will get the four corners attached to the TV. Oh, on that, the instructions said that the mount would have nuts and bolts in the mount so you knew which ones to use to install the extenders for the different VESA configurations. They were not installed on our wall mount. We had to go through the loose bag of nuts, bolts and washers and GUESS which ones would fit. Also it didn't tell you how many you were getting. The holes in the extenders look like you get 8 but only four fit and had nuts that fit so we used four.Be sure to figure out which of the bolts from the bag of loose bolts fit your TV BEFORE you lift it to mount it.It was difficult to get the extenders to meet up with the holes on the back of our tv. The first time we tried to attach the top screws to the TV first. That didn't work, as we could only get three holes to match up. we started again screwing in the screws from the bottom right, then bottom left then top left then top right and we got it to work.All in all, it worked, but it took two people (and three would have been nice just to lift and hold the tv while fighting with the bolts) over an hour to mount the TV because of the issues I mentioned above.
