In love with my new garden beds! The wood is beautiful, was easy to put together (though it took a couple hours to do two of these; not the 20 min it says on the instructions) and my vegetables are growing happily. Not sure if I should oil the wood or do something to increase its longevity. So far they look great and are holding up well in the heat!
This was an excellent find. Perfect height for planting and upkeep. It assembled easily. The scent of the wood was worth the price alone - the results of price comparisons showed that this planter was same size as those in the big box stores, but cheaper. Only complaint is the liner should have some sort of way to secure it to the sides of the planter. This is not enough to lose a star.
The garden bed arrived in good order. The directions were minimal but do-able. It took quite a bit longer to put together than the 4 hours suggested in the booklet! I am extremely pleased with the finished project. I’ve already received compliments from the neighbors. Good product. Thanks.
I purchase two of these planters. I have put one together and it was fairly easy. I'm not a fan of the cam bolts, but they do serve a purpose. I did use Rustoelum SPAR varnish on the planter. I still have to put the other one together but do not anticipate any problems. I think it will work perfectly for what I want.
I bought two of these that were perfect. I rated this one lower because this one had three missing screws (#2) and one slightly warped E board. I used metal to bolster the support since it didn't fit into the end slot. I still recommended it to a sister since I could make it work. It was far easier than building it from scratch, which I could do, but glad I didn't. One thing was hard each time, getting the long bolts to fit.
Exactly what I was looking for. Easy assembly. Finished with a sealant to protect in the weather. Not too big and easy to reach for tending to the plants. Planted tomatoes, pepper, lettuce, and bush beans. Looking forward to "harvest" in a few months if the squirrels don't reach them first!
