Great small raised bed.

Assembly instructions could be better. yet easy to figure out. Getting the correct side to the correct leg for the bolt was the difficult part. Other than that it was fairly easy. I stained it after assembly and it looks great. I showed it to a friend and they purchased one and I had the honor of assembling that one also. With my previous experience it when together easy. Great looking beds. I used double sided tape to hold the liner up.

Impossible to assemble

My husband and I have assembled many kinds of furniture in our 20 year history. From bookcases to fireplaces to chairs. We could not assemble this garden box. Pieces did not fit as stated in instructions. We threw it away partially assembled. DON’T buy:

Extra steps required to make it last longer

Overall, very pleased with this raised bed, you must be very patient when putting it together and not force anything. Like most commenters suggested, which I did myself, I sealed it with a clear outdoor stain to preserve the wood and to protect it from dry rot. I also used wood glue in the joints to reinforce the structure. I also stapled the inside liner to keep it in place. This should help keep it lasting longer for many years.

This raised garden bed is even sturdier than expected. It wasn't "easy" to put together until we actually followed the instructions, but it went together well, and was level and plumb. How it will hold up is another question for a year from now, but we are happy so far.
