Fun family project - easy to put together with all provided hardware and instructions. As other reviews noted, it's good to have a drill to avoid splitting when screwing in some of the small wooden strips. We painted them with a terracotta weatherproof sealant and it looks great in my patio. Love that they provide a liner as well. We planted herbs and radish. Hoping it stands up to the weather and lasts a long time.
CONSUMER BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!! I bought 2 of these for our school garden with grant funds. I picked them because they were a kid and elder friendly height and because they were on wheels whcih was ideal for the flexible space where they’d be used. We planted them in strawberries less than 2 months ago. About 2 weeks ago I noticed the edges were separating and the wood was starting to crack. My husband looked at the first photos and decided we could repair them. Yesterday we went to repair them and barely touched them when they completely collapsed! I was SO GLAD it wasn’t a student on the end of that 50+ pound pile of wood and soil!! I am beyond frustrated and angry!! Because it was grant funds, and because of our school budget, we can’t just run out and buy something to replace these either! Cheap horrible product and DANGEROUS around children! DO NOT BUY!
They are great i have 2 now soon there will be more. Being in a wheelchair its great for me being able to have a small garden. Looking forward to getting more of them.
It was relatively easy to assemble. It did take longer than the projected 20 minutes. Good quality and sturdy. Mine is still inside, growing seedlings.
Instructions were very vague. It took hours, not the twenty minutes as stated in the instructions. I like the size and design, but more details in the instructions would have been better.
Bought this last year, liked it, & bought another this year. Last year was fairly easy to put together, but this year the instructions & numbering of pieces were messed up so it was MUCH more difficult to assemble. You also need to stain or paint the wood and polyurethane it, in order to have it hold up. But once done, it’s attractive & functional & seems quite sturdy. Overall, a success, but assembly is not easy & takes patience.
I just love it!!! It’s perfect if you don’t have too much space but still want a small garden. I’m glad I made the purchase. I have 8 different veggies right now and they are doing great! The price was good too.
