Love the styling. Quality is good (i.e. they came out of the box all uniform and with no marks or defects). However, while the knives have a good weight and feel good in the hand, all the other pieces are very, very lightweight. A fork or spoon could bend with very little force. Also, be warned that the finish is very shiny and shows everything. I leave fingerprints on every piece as I pull it out of the dishwasher to put away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
