Don’t Like It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We finally had a warm enough day to try this outside and thank goodness it was outside! Those little gel balls go everywhere and bounce, I can’t imagine having them all over my house. My 14 yr old son squished one to see what comes out and it is indeed some type of gel stuff. My first thought is who wants to get shot at with this and get this gel stuff all over them. I sincerely hope they are non-toxic for kids and pets because they are so tiny they could go in a pets nose and I imagine to a little kid it would look like something to eat. The gun was also difficult to use and the balls fall out before you even fire the gun. You also have to soak the balls for a few hours before play, what kid wants to wait that long to play? None that I know of. In my opinion this is one of the worst Nerf designs ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fine for younger kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My youngest son has a similar type of gel blaster gun but made by a different company so when I found a Nerf brand version I was excited to grab it for my older son. It's a nice gun, sturdy, good materials and well constructed. Package comes with protective eye wear and gel beads. No batteries or charging required so I like that. Draw back on the handle to load the gun and pull the trigger to release the gel bead. For rapid fire, draw back the handle repeatedly while firing.
Unfortunately this doesn't shoot the gel beads very far, which was disappointing to my son. In his words, the gun just sort of "lobs" the beads rather than shooting them any distance. So nice, quality material Nerf gun for a great price but probably better suited for the younger end of the age range.

Tons of fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nerf gun is amazing! Its not like any nerf gun I have ever seen, instead of shooting the soft darts it shoots a gel bead that is actually pretty soft too. You soak the beads in water and they expand. Tons of fun for our family!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 8 year old for his birthday. It is a little advanced as the pellets do hurt a bit, but we don’t shoot people with it we use it for shooting objects. My girls want some just like it as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing fun time. I love that it came with the protective eyewear. This Nerf Pro Gelfire was a nice size and was easy to grip.
The trigger lock is a nice safety feature to have as well.

Fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These things are great! As a family we plan friendly battles with the gel blasters! This design is one of the better ones! The beads don’t jam and holds just enough for a good round of fun! The colors are bright and easy to assemble. Always remember the safety gear, goggles or safety glasses and pads. Enjoy some time outside with your kids and have fun!

What a great toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this is from Nerf first of all, I have bought their products for years. It is easy to use, has lots of rounds included, and was fought over when we opened the package. We need about 4 more to start a total family war! This is light weight enough so anyone can use it, even the smallest of our group, I know I can find replacement rounds since this brand is sold virtually everywhere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. What I received was a Nerf Pro GelFire Legion toy gun that shoots gel pellets. I have seen this toy a lot on social media and was very interested in it and was so glad I got the chance to review it.
The toy comes fully equipped with a packet of 5000 gel “rounds”. They come in a little packet and they look like teeny little beads. You add these “rounds” into a container of clean tapwater. The instructions state to use at least half a gallon/2 L of water per 5000 “rounds”. Once they are hydrated and have grown in size, which is not very big at all, you place them in the little plastic hopper and screw that hopper into the top of the gun and kids are ready to play.
The kids here loved it. It is winter here and we had a big snowstorm and the kids played outside with it and they had a ton of fun. I loved it because there was absolutely no cleanup needed and the kids got a lot of fresh air and exercise. It was great to get them away from the screens.
Comes with excellent instructions and it also comes with a pair of safety goggles. So that’s an extra bonus.
I’ve already ordered some extra packages of the plastic pellets so the kids can continue their play. This is truly a great toy for the kids to get them outside of the house.
