Great role model style Barbie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was super excited to receive her doctor doll. She thought it was extra special because she has Brown skin. I love that the body shape is slightly more realistic, but it’s unfortunate that her wardrobe will mostly be restricted to the clothes she came with. I haven’t looked for any more clothes yet, so there may be some available for purchase, but we already have a ton of clothes, so I doubt we will purchase much more.

Beautiful barbie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited when my daughter picked this barbie to play with and review. She has always talked about being a doctor when she gets older, so this is the perfect Barbie for her. The box was fairly easy to open, my 7 yo was able to open the box herself. She had a hard time with the rubber bands holding the hair and stethoscope, and we were SO GLAD to not have to cut any plastic pieces out of the barbie's hair. I love that the body type is not the typical "Barbie" size, although it makes it complicated when wanting to switch clothes. One thing I wish would've been different on this doll was the hair. Not all African-American women wear their hair straight/relaxed! I would have much preferred a natural hair style on this Barbie. Other than that, I have no complaints, and my kiddo plays with this every day.

You little girl will love this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old got this for a review and when she opened it she was elated and said open please. The minute I opened it she ran around the house trying to play Dr with all her Barbies and our cats. She took the stethoscope and forced our cat to lay down so Dr barbie could listen. This is the cutest barbie I've seen. My daughter plays for hours with this barbie.

Realistic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is fantastic. She is a woman of color with a realistic body shape. She has wider hips as most women do. Its great to have a woman doctor doll- my kids are used to male doctor dolls and its great for them to see all they can achieve. They give their Skipper and Chelsea dolls regular checkups and more with this doll

Plus, with all the changes in the world with people getting sick, I get to hear her act out how she but handled her patients playing with this doll.
