sparks the imagination to do gymnastics

i picked up this doll for my daughter for christmas. she just opened it this morning. she played with the barbie doll and was imagining she was a coach for the doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old daughter is a gymnast and this became her favorite quickly. It’s awesome to see Barbies in different careers. It’s a great positive model for girls. The accessories were somewhat flimsy but that did not matter too much.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie had some great features and was a great representation. It was difficult for my younger daughter to understand what the clubs were for but we found some videos online to show her what they are used for. I know the uniform was cut similar to how a gymnast's uniform would be but it did look a little odd with the hip joints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters are in gymnastics so this Barbie was special to them. They used their Barbie to recreate the activities they do in their own classes. They were smiling ear to ear the entire time they were playing with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the outfit this gymnastics Barbie wore, my daughter thought it was very realistic. The accessories were fun to play with too. My daughter thought the ribbon was the best part, they had a blast making up routines for Barbie to perform!

Gymnastics fans listen up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a gymnastics fan I’m your life, then they would probably love this Barbie. Right out of the box the first thing my daughter asked was, “What’s wrong with her legs?” They do look a little strange, but then you see she can do splits and flips. So that part is neat. We also liked the fun ribbon and batons (not pictured) that it came with. Overall this doll was just OK for my daughter, but I think some kids would love it even more.

Flexible?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie is beautiful with its hair in a tight bun and a pretty leotard but it’s a shame she’s not flexible since she is a gymnast. She’s pretty stiff, which might make it easier to flip her for cartwheels and such but gymnasts have all sorts of tricks that this Barbie is unable to mimic since she is stiff. My daughter still enjoys this Barbie and was thrilled about her updo but has already switched its clothes and put the leotard on one of her Barbies with flexible joints.

Great Barbie Doll
