Christmas Dinner for 12

My Thermador double oven went on the fritz during Christmas weekend and we had 12 people coming for dinner. We baked cookies, pies, potatoes and a 10 lb rib roast (which was cooked to perfection) all on our Traeger Ranger! It worked like a champ and I now have confidence to try so many more things with this amazing little grill.

Ranger: Pellets Won't Drop Down Into Auger

Not recommended. The pellets will not drop into auger. They don't have enough of a slope or don't have enough weight on them. This causes a flame out constantly. Ugh.

Convenient

The size is a five star in itself. Smoke flavor could be better but I found smoking the meat in a frozen state gave it more time to smoke slower and longer giving it an ideal flavor. Yes it takes longer but great results. Take a bit to get used to the button settings but after a few trial and errors you figure it out. Great lightweight for Rv and tailgating. Quite and easy to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!
