Cute new style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie Dream Besties Barbie is a nice new style to the original Barbie my teen is used to. The doll is more bubbly and teen like. Her makeup has a slight shimmer. My daughter says she's cute but doesn't like the gloves. The doll has joints at the elbows, wrists, shoulders, and knees. That's always been a big plus for my daughter because she doesn't like the dolls to be stiff. I asked her if there is anything specific she liked the most and she said the accessories are nice.

Dream Besties are a dream !

Super poseable and full of detailed accessories. The details to make up and the clothes is realistic , barbie really knocked it out the park with this line .

Barbie Besties is by far the BEST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now this is BARBIE!!!! This is what Barbie Extra should have been. The cute accessories, the cohesive fashions, the SHOES! I love everything about this doll. I just wish she had earrings. I'm mostly thankful she doesnt have a pet with sunglasses.

Pretty Barbie Besties Doll

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently we had the opportunity to check out the new Barbie Dream Besties Barbie “Malibu” Fashion Doll along with the Teresa doll. My children are between 4-11 years old and both enjoy playing with dolls. Immediately my oldest was excited to get these dolls out of their boxes and compare them to the other Barbie dolls. There are some obvious differences that are cute and remind us of other brands. It's nice to see Barbie trying something new.
There were a few things that didn't work out so well. The Barbie pink case that the lipstick can go into doesn't seem to open and close as it should. Every time they opened it the case would separate and fall apart. Barbie's top is very cute. The sleeves are long glove style and they make it difficult to attach accessories like the blow dryer and the lipstick. The pink streaks are chunky and crunchy feeling. They don't move as well with the rest of her hair.
A few of our favorite details about this Barbie were the details on the shoes and the shirt. The colors are bright and vibrant. The accessories are very detailed. The lipstick is cute and the fact that it opens is really neat. It didn't attach well to her hands though. The makeup foundation powder puff thing is awesome. The white applicator part is softly textured slightly enough to make it appealing to sensory seekers. Those little details make this Barbie more interesting for my oldest and myself. Although, my youngest didn't seem as enthusiastic about those bits.

Her hair is beautiful and all of her accessories are very admirable! Even when we took her to the park and dropped her in the wood chips her hair was still in great condition. Highly recommend

Barbie Dream Besties Malibu

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t been this excited about a doll in a long time. When I saw this Malibu Barbie Dream Besties doll, my first thought was I need all of them… now! The Malibu doll is my favorite hands down because I love pink, and she has an adorable outfit and great accessories. Starting with the doll itself, she has very long wavy blonde hair with two pale pink pieces cascading down in the front, and the classic Barbie vintage style sunglasses perched on her head. Her face is adorable, though I do wish she had a little different mouth, maybe an open warmer smile instead of this slight smirk. She wears a hot pink top and gloves and jean shorts, and i absolutely love her soft rubber pink platform shoes. She also holds a mirror in her hand and wears a shiny silver heart locket style necklace. Her arms and legs are articulated, so the potential for lots of good play and poses abounds. Her accessories are too cute, a hair dryer with a compact and powder puff, and a clutch for her cell phone and lipstick. If you have the opportunity to buy this doll, don’t pass it up! She’s stunning and you will not be disappointed!
