Great smart lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really excited about this - I’ve wanted a smart lock for a long time. It’s really helpful when we have people come over to look after our cats. Installation was fairly easy, but took a little time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Install was super easy. The BILT instructions made each step crystal clear. Connecting it to my Smartthings Hub took a minute to figure out because I had to select other Z Wave device instead of Smart Lock. Love everything about this lock. Looks great on the door and works even better. This was my first Smart Home purchase and I am not computer or mechanical wizard - yet it was easy to install, set up and works great!

Faulty manufacturing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was SO EXCITED to be included in this campaign. We just closed on our house 2 days ago and I could not wait to install this on our front door at the new house.
Unfortunately, the lock that was sent to me was made faulty. The screw hole on the deadbolt side do not like up with the internal holes on the lock. There is no way we could move or shift to make it fit. We had already drilled the 3rd hole for extra security and now we either have to patch it or find another lock that will fit. Unfortunately this item has to go in the trash. I can’t recommend an unusable product.

Safety and convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this Alfred Smart Lock in exchange for my honest review. I have a smart lock on my home which has been very convenient and helped me feel safe. I installed the Alfred smart lock on my mom’s home given I visit often and hate having to pull my keys out of my bag and sort through them. This was very easy to install in place of her existing key lock, and to set up the code and security measures. I like that there’s options for a code, RFID and key so everyone in the house can be comfortable with any entry method they prefer.

Very convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product in exchange for my honest review. We were interested in adding a smart lock to one of our doors so it was perfect when we were gifted this. My husband and I were able to install it one evening after work. There is video and paper instructions provided to make set up easier. We thought it was pretty easy to set up and works really well for the door in our home we wanted to use it for. You can use a code and type that in or one of the little keys can be swiped to unlock the door. We really like this addition to our home and will continue to use it.

Life changing

My car is basically keyless so I never know where my keys are in my purse and this lock makes it so easy for me to not have to search for keys. I like that you can have a secondary code that you can turn on and off and not have to worry about giving a key to a house/pet sitter. It was easy to install and basically just makes life 100x easier. Definitely you should purchase this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like having the added security of a deadbolt, and my door is set up for that as well. The addition of the key is something my previous one did not include, which was unfortunate when the battery died.
